Detailed Review
The Yfrest flush mount ceiling fan combines overhead LED lighting and a geometric fan into a single fixture. It is designed to circulate air and illuminate spaces without requiring separate fixtures, making it practical for bedrooms, nurseries, living areas, or dining rooms. Because the fan and the light can function independently, you can run the airflow without turning on the illumination, or keep the room lit without operating the fan.
Airflow customization is straightforward with six speed settings and a reversible motor. In summer mode, the forward rotation helps push cool air downward, while the winter reverse mode helps circulate air to keep the room warm. Built-in timers let you set the unit to turn off automatically after one or two hours, managed conveniently through either the physical remote control or the mobile app.
The built-in LED lighting eliminates the need to buy separate replacement bulbs. It features three preset color temperatures, including 3000K warm light, 4500K medium white, and 6000K cold white, along with three brightness levels and stepless dimming. A memory function saves your adjustments if the light remains on for more than 10 seconds, ensuring it turns on with the same brightness and color tone the next time.
This compact fixture is rated for rooms between 150 and 250 square feet, which means it may not move enough air for larger open-concept layouts. The timer options are also limited specifically to one or two hours, rather than longer custom intervals. Additionally, the manufacturer does not provide physical dimensions or weight details in the specifications.
Verdict: This Yfrest unit is a sensible pick for small to medium rooms that need versatile lighting and year-round airflow control. Its combination of app connectivity, dimming options, and multi-speed reversible rotation offers solid everyday convenience for everyday living spaces.
