MODELLOR Coco Coir Bricks, 4-Pack (5 lb) – Premium Super Washed, Yields

The MODELLOR Coco Coir Bricks pack delivers a lightweight, space-saving growing medium designed for home gardeners and plant enthusiasts. By supplying compressed coconut coir instead of bulky bags of potting mix, it solves the challenge of storing large amounts of soil amendment while providing a clean foundation for planting.

Each pack contains four bricks weighing five pounds in total, which expand into up to nine gallons (36 quarts) of fluffy medium once hydrated with water. The coir is triple-washed, pH-balanced, and processed for low electrical conductivity (EC) with reduced salts, making it ready to use right after soaking.

Its airy physical structure retains moisture while preserving oxygen flow around plant roots. This balance makes the material versatile enough to use for seed starting, indoor houseplants, vegetables, flowers, bonsai, orchids, raised beds, container gardens, and hydroponic setups. Because it is derived from renewable coconut coir, it also serves as a biodegradable alternative to peat moss.

As with any compressed coir product, you must hydrate the bricks with water before use rather than pouring them straight from the package. Gardeners managing large landscape beds might also need multiple packages, as a single pack yields 36 quarts.

Verdict: This four-pack is an excellent, compact choice for gardeners who want a clean, low-salt growing medium for containers, seed trays, or hydroponics without dedicating large amounts of shed space to soil storage.
