Detailed Review
The tounee Telescopic Laptop Stand provides an adjustable sit-to-stand setup right on your desk. Built for laptops ranging from 10 to 17 inches, it allows you to switch between sitting and standing postures without needing a full-sized standing desk. It helps address muscle tension and neck and shoulder pain by putting your laptop screen at an ergonomic angle and height throughout the work day.
A central telescoping button makes height transitions straightforward, offering a vertical adjustment range between 2.1 inches and 21 inches. Underneath the riser, a built-in 360-degree rotating turntable allows you to turn the screen with light pressure, which is convenient when sharing notes or participating in face-to-face discussions. Constructed from aluminum alloy, the stand relies on a large heavy base and two pivot joints to support devices weighing up to 22 pounds securely.
When you need to clear your work area, the stand folds down to conserve desk space and allow for easier storage. In terms of trade-offs, the unit is limited to laptops up to 17 inches in size, so oversize mobile workstations will not fit. The heavier base that provides its 22-pound load stability also means it will feel substantial compared to ultra-minimalist risers.
Verdict: The tounee Telescopic Laptop Stand is a solid, highly adjustable workstation accessory for anyone who wants sit-to-stand versatility and smooth screen sharing on a standard desk. It is an excellent match for users with 10 to 17-inch laptops looking to improve posture and relieve neck strain.
