Detailed Review
The Koala Kare KB300-00 is a surface-mounted horizontal baby changing station designed to provide a secure, dedicated space for infant care in public or commercial restrooms. Built to handle frequent use, it combines a supportive internal steel frame with durable polypropylene plastic, giving businesses a dependable fixture for accommodating visiting families.
Daily operation focuses on safety, hygiene, and convenience. The changing bed opens and closes smoothly thanks to a concealed pneumatic cylinder, preventing rapid dropping or slamming. Integrated child protection straps help keep infants securely in place during diaper changes, while Microban antimicrobial protection is built into the material to reduce odor-causing bacteria between cleanings.
For added convenience, the unit includes dual dispensers for sanitary liners and diaper disposal sacks directly at arm reach. Visually, the beige body is paired with a contrasting outer ring to blend cleanly into modern restroom interiors.
Because this is a surface-mounted horizontal model, you need sufficient flat wall width to accommodate the fold-down tray. The product specifications also do not list the exact overall dimensions or weight capacity, so installers will need to verify wall clearance before mounting.
Verdict: The Koala Kare KB300-00 is a reliable, hygienic addition for any commercial or public restroom that needs to accommodate parents and young children safely.
