Detailed Review
The PHYEX 17" Heavy Duty Metal Dust Pan with Brush Set provides a rugged cleanup solution for spaces that generate bulky or coarse debris. Built around a wide 17-inch metal body, it targets heavier messes in garages, workshops, yards, patios, and fireplaces where standard plastic alternatives might struggle.
The generous 17-inch mouth allows you to capture a high volume of sweepings in fewer passes. A flat front edge helps guide materials directly into the pan rather than underneath it, while the included stiff bristle brush is suited for managing stubborn items such as wood chips, dry leaves, gravel, dirt, and fireplace ash.
For setup and storage, the dust pan requires minor assembly before its first use. The package includes the necessary screws and wrench to attach the handle securely. Once assembled, storing the set is straightforward: the dust pan handle can be hung directly, and the brush features an integrated hanging hole.
As a trade-off, this set does require some assembly out of the box rather than arriving ready to use immediately. Additionally, the manufacturer does not specify the exact dimensions of the brush or the specific material used for the brush bristles.
Verdict: This set is a solid choice for homeowners and workshop owners dealing with coarse, heavy messes. If you need a durable metal pan with a wide sweep path for outdoor or garage cleanup, it offers dependable utility.
