Detailed Review
The EVERLITSURVIVAL STORM II Emergency Survival Kit is a comprehensive 72-hour bug-out backpack designed to support three people during unexpected disasters. It consolidates critical survival necessities into a single heavy-duty tactical pack, making it a reliable grab-and-go solution for households looking to prepare for severe events like earthquakes.
For sustenance, the kit contains 36 individual 125ml water pouches and three 3,600-calorie food bars with a 5-year shelf life, meeting FEMA guidelines for a minimum of 1,000 calories per person daily. It also includes water purification tablets capable of treating up to 25 quarts of found water. Medical preparation is handled by a 200-piece first aid assortment alongside a dedicated CAT tourniquet for controlling traumatic bleeding.
Survival tools include a 3-in-1 hand-crank flashlight that doubles as an emergency radio and phone charger, an emergency shelter, thermal blankets, a poncho, safety goggles, gloves, a camping knife, a compass, and glow sticks. Everything packs into a 1000D tear- and water-resistant polyester tactical backpack featuring four main compartments, internal pockets, padded mesh shoulder and waist straps, and exterior Molle panels for modular expansion.
As a trade-off, carrying 36 water pouches and substantial rations will make the pack relatively heavy, which could be cumbersome for extended foot travel. Additionally, the listing does not specify the exact cubic capacity or empty weight of the backpack.
Verdict: The STORM II kit is an excellent, all-in-one emergency preparedness package for families or small groups of up to three people. It delivers pre-organized food, water, medical trauma supplies, and multi-use tools in a rugged pack ready for immediate evacuation.
