Detailed Review
The EverBrite Tactical Flashlight is a mid-sized handheld torch designed for outdoor excursions and home emergency kits. Built around an aluminum body with a knurled finish, it provides a solid grip for outdoor night walks, camping trips, or power outages around the house.
Equipped with P8 LED lamp beads, the light generates up to 600 lumens and throws a beam reaching 590 feet. You can switch between High, Medium, Low, and Strobe modes depending on how much visibility you need. The sliding head lets you zoom from a wide floodlight for close-range tasks to a focused spotlight for scanning distances.
Durability is a clear focus in the construction. The aluminum casing provides dust resistance, IPX4 splash protection, and impact resistance tested from 1.5 meters (4-15/16 feet). Power comes from three standard C alkaline batteries, which can deliver up to 75 hours of continuous runtime when used on the low setting.
Because it relies on three C batteries and measures between 8.4 and 9 inches long, this light has a substantial footprint weighing 225 grams. It will take up noticeable space in a pack compared to compact pocket lights, and it requires keeping replacement alkaline cells on hand rather than plugging into a USB charger.
Verdict: The EverBrite Tactical Flashlight is a dependable, budget-friendly choice for homeowners, campers, and hikers who want long battery life and rugged durability in an easy-to-use handheld light.
