Detailed Review
The EBODA Waterproof Shower Speaker is a compact, palm-sized audio device built for wet environments and outdoor recreation. It solves the worry of water damage in the bathroom or out on the trail, making it a handy companion for anyone who wants tunes in the shower, on a kayak, or around the campsite.
Water resistance is the central highlight here. With an IPX7 rating, the speaker handles bathroom steam, dust, sand, snow, and full submersion in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes. It even floats, and you can hand wash it if it gets muddy outdoors. For sound, it relies on a 5W driver supporting A2DP profiles to produce crisp audio, backed by a 2000mAh rechargeable battery and five selectable LED light modes that illuminate your listening space.
Everyday usability is simple thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, which maintains a stable signal up to 33 feet and connects across iOS, Android, computers, and Echo devices. A built-in microphone allows you to take hands-free phone calls directly from the speaker. The rugged rubber housing includes an integrated hook with a carabiner clip, making it easy to snap onto bags, bicycles, or shower rods. You can also pair two of these units together using True Wireless Stereo to create separate left and right channels.
There are a few limits to keep in mind. When the speaker surface becomes waterlogged or submerged, sound output meets physical resistance and volume drops until clear. Furthermore, the 5W driver is designed for personal listening rather than large gatherings, and the product listing notes that battery playtime varies based on your volume level, lighting use, and audio content without stating an exact runtime in hours.
Verdict: This speaker is a solid choice for listeners who need a rugged, water-safe audio solution for the shower, pool, or outdoor trips. If you want a compact device that clips anywhere and survives a dunk in the water, it delivers dependable utility.
