ZIP System Liquid Flash Sausage Applicator, Caulk Gun, 20 oz Sausage

The ZIP System Liquid Flash Sausage Applicator is a dedicated caulk gun designed for dispensing 20 oz sausage packs of liquid flashing. It is built for construction crews and installers who need precise, controlled sealant placement when weatherproofing exterior building envelopes.

Mechanical performance centers on an 18:1 high-thrust ratio, which helps drive viscous sealant smoothly with less hand strain while maintaining consistent bead size. The revolving frame allows the sausage barrel to spin, making it easier to keep the applicator tip at the correct orientation when sealing tight corners or navigating detailed flashing transitions.

For durability and handling, the tool features a zinc alloy handle with an ergonomic grip designed for corrosion resistance. A smooth pressure rod mechanism provides quiet operation during continuous application on the jobsite.

Because this applicator is specifically sized for 20 oz sausage packs, it will not accept standard rigid caulk cartridges. The listing also does not mention included replacement nozzles or additional pack sizes, so you are limited strictly to compatible sausage-style sealants.

Verdict: This applicator is an ideal choice for installers working with ZIP System 20 oz liquid flash packs who need high thrust and a rotating barrel for corner detailing. If you only use standard rigid caulk tubes, you will need a different tool.
