Detailed Review
The Skempton Counter Height Bar Stool set provides a dedicated seating solution for tight dining areas and kitchen islands. Designed specifically for small space living, this two-piece set pairs a compact footprint with traditional styling cues. It suits anyone looking to add functional counter seating without crowding a room.
Crafted with an acacia veneer and select rubberwood solids, each stool features a grayish white finish treated with a rub-through effect for a weathered look. The top contrasts with a medium-toned brown finish, detailed with a planked effect and saw kerf distressing that fits coastal chic or modern farmhouse decor. The seats are cushioned and upholstered in 100% polyester fabric for everyday comfort during meals.
Because these are backless 24-inch counter-height stools, they lack upper back support, which may not suit those who prefer full-back seating. Assembly is also required upon delivery, though the package comes with instructions, necessary hardware, and tools to complete the setup.
Verdict: This two-piece stool set is a smart pick for apartment dwellers or homeowners needing stylish, compact counter seating. If you want a distressed farmhouse look with cushioned seats sized for smaller spaces, it is well worth considering.
