Detailed Review
The HVERSAILTEX Blackout Patio Curtain is an extra-wide single panel designed to cover large openings like glass sliding doors, French doors, or wide room openings. Measuring 100 inches wide by 96 inches long, it solves the challenge of finding substantial window coverings that can span large spaces without stitching multiple small drapes together.
Construction relies on a triple-woven, thick microfiber fabric manufactured in an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified facility. The material is lab-tested to be free of vinyl and PVC, earning it a Global Recycled Standard certification. In everyday use, this dense weave works to block out 99 percent of sunlight and 100 percent of UV rays, while also delivering thermal insulation, room darkening, noise reduction, and total privacy.
Hanging the curtain is straightforward thanks to 16 built-in metal grommets. Each grommet has an inner diameter of 1.6 inches and an outer rim of 2.4 inches, allowing the fabric to slide smoothly over basic or decorative curtain rods. Beyond glass doors, the generous dimensions make it practical for dividing shared spaces in studio apartments, dorms, city lofts, or basements. Maintenance is also low-effort, as the fabric is fully machine washable in cold water and safe for low-heat tumble drying.
There are a few practical considerations to keep in mind. The product is sold as a single panel, so very wide expanses may require purchasing more than one unit depending on the amount of fullness you prefer. You will also need to provide your own hanging hardware, as rods are not included in the package.
Verdict: This curtain is a dependable choice for anyone needing a wide, durable drape for glass patio doors or open room partitions. Its certified blackout performance and easy machine care make it an effective solution for privacy and light management.
