SUNNY GUARD 10' x 13' Rectangle Shade Sail 95% UV Block Outdoor

The SUNNY GUARD 10' x 13' Rectangle Shade Sail provides overhead sun protection for patios, decks, backyards, pools, and carports. Built from 100 percent brand new high density polyethylene, this canopy helps reduce direct sun exposure in open outdoor areas without requiring permanent roof structures.

Its fabric weave blocks up to 95 percent of harmful UV rays while remaining breathable. Because the material lets air pass through freely, it helps achieve a degree of cooling underneath rather than trapping hot air below the canopy. The construction also avoids spliced fabrics, creating a uniform, continuous piece across the 10 by 13 foot spread.

For setup, you will need to plan your space carefully. The manufacturer recommends leaving a 0.5-foot to 1-foot margin between each fixing point and the sail corners for mounting hardware or ropes. While the package includes 3 to 4 thickened ropes, dedicated stainless steel hardware is recommended separately for long-term setup. Keep in mind that material characteristics can cause a finished size deviation of up to plus or minus 4 inches.

Verdict: This rectangular shade sail is a practical, breathable choice for anyone needing effective overhead sun coverage across standard 10 by 13 foot areas. It delivers solid UV blocking for everyday outdoor lounging, provided you account for the necessary mounting margins and hardware.
