Nite Ize Original Reusable Foam Twist Tie, Cut to Size, 20 Foot

The Nite Ize Original Reusable Foam Twist Tie offers a customizable plant-support and tying solution in a 20-foot continuous roll. Designed primarily for indoor and outdoor gardening, it replaces rigid wire ties that can cut into delicate stems or single-use plastic ties that create unnecessary waste.

Its soft rubberized foam exterior provides a cushioned surface safe for contact with growing plants. Despite the padded exterior, the interior core securely holds its twisted shape. A patented manufacturing and bonding process ensures the tie will not rust, peel, or expose sharp ends after being trimmed, making it safe to handle repeatedly.

Versatility is a major strength of this roll. Using standard household scissors, you can cut exact lengths tailored to small houseplants, heavy garden trellises, or general bundling tasks around the home. Because the material is waterproof and UV resistant, it withstands outdoor sun and rain across multiple seasons without degrading, and it can be cleaned simply by hand washing.

One consideration is that you must cut each segment yourself, which takes a few moments of setup compared to precut ties. Additionally, the listing does not specify the exact internal wire thickness or the total diameter of the foam.

Verdict: This 20-foot foam twist tie is an excellent option for gardeners and homeowners seeking a durable, plant-safe tie they can cut to any custom size. Its weatherproof construction and reusable core provide reliable support indoors and out.

A great fit if you:

• Need soft, cushioned support ties that will not harm tender garden plants
• Want the flexibility to cut custom tie lengths with regular household scissors
• Require waterproof, UV-resistant ties for outdoor use across multiple seasons
• Prefer reusable tying solutions over disposable plastic wraps

Consider something else if you:

• Prefer pre-cut ties ready to use right out of the package
• Need ties that can be machine washed rather than hand washed
