DAP Extreme Stretch Acrylic Urethane Premium Elastomeric Sealant, White, 10.1 Oz (7079818715)

DAP Extreme Stretch Acrylic Urethane Sealant is an elastomeric caulk designed to handle significant joint movement around the home. By blending polyurethane and acrylic latex technology, this formula bridges large gaps while maintaining flexibility across indoor and outdoor surfaces.

The standout feature is its flexibility, stretching up to 600 percent to seal joints as wide as 3 inches. It meets ASTM C920, Class 25 specifications, making it dependable for settling areas or seams that expand and contract. Because it is 100 percent waterproof and weatherproof, the cured bead resists the elements to stay clean and fresh over time.

Application and upkeep are straightforward thanks to the water-based latex chemistry. The low-odor compound cleans up with basic water, eliminating the need for harsh solvent cleaners. When you need to match surrounding trim or siding, you can paint over the white sealant in just two hours.

As for limitations, the product comes in a standard 10.1 oz cartridge and is offered in white, so non-white finishes require a coat of paint. The formula also requires a full two hours of cure time before paint application, which may require minor planning during fast-turnaround jobs.

Verdict: DAP Extreme Stretch is an ideal choice for DIYers and pros needing a highly flexible, waterproof caulk for wide or moving seams. Its balance of easy water clean-up, quick paintability, and outdoor weather resistance makes it a reliable pick for both interior and exterior sealing tasks.
