Guardmax Queen Mattress Protector Zippered, Bed Bug Mattress Cover

The Guardmax Queen Mattress Protector provides full six-sided encasement to protect your bed against liquids, bed bugs, and allergens. Designed to fit standard queen mattresses, it offers a reliable barrier for parents managing potty training accidents, allergy sufferers wanting cleaner bedding, and anyone looking to protect their mattress from daily spills and sweat.

A primary feature of this protector is its thorough closure system. The nylon zipper runs around three sides and tucks securely under a stitched guard flap, eliminating gaps at the pull tab so pests cannot enter or escape. Underneath the top fabric sits a waterproof barrier that stops wet messes from penetrating the mattress core. In addition, the tight weave traps dust mite allergens inside, while the outer fabric holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification.

For everyday comfort, the outer face is made from a breathable polyester jersey knit that feels like a soft T-shirt. It remains silky smooth and silent when you shift positions at night, avoiding the crinkly sounds common with basic plastic covers. Putting it on is straightforward: the encasement slips over your mattress like an oversized pillowcase and zips shut. When cleaning is required, it unzips completely and handles a warm machine wash followed by a low tumble dry without losing its shape.

Keep in mind that sizing is specific. This cover is tailored for a 60 by 80-inch queen bed with a standard depth of 12 inches, stretching up to 13 inches at most. If you have an extra-deep mattress or use thick mattress toppers, this encasement will not fit properly over the combined height.

Verdict: The Guardmax Queen Mattress Protector is a dependable choice for sleepers who need full six-sided allergen, bug, and waterproof defense without the crinkly noise of traditional plastic. It is an excellent match for standard 12-to-13-inch queen mattresses needing reliable, quiet everyday coverage.
