Detailed Review
This cordless 22-inch hedge trimmer is built for homeowners who need to manage overgrown shrubs and bushes without the hassle of extension cords. Powered by an included 20V MAX battery, it delivers the freedom to move anywhere around the yard while maintaining reliable cutting performance for standard landscaping chores.
The tool is equipped with 22-inch dual-action blades engineered to cut branches up to 3/4 inches thick. By operating with dual action, the blades produce up to 40 percent less vibration compared to single-action designs, making trimming sessions less tiring on your hands and arms. On a single charge, the battery delivers enough runtime to trim up to 3,000 square feet of hedges.
Handling is tailored for versatile yard work thanks to a wrap-around front handle and a full-length trigger with a soft grip. This setup allows you to switch smoothly between horizontal top trimming and vertical side trimming without losing a secure, comfortable hold.
As a dedicated cordless hedge trimmer, its cutting capability is limited to branches up to 3/4 inches thick, meaning heavier limbs will require separate pruning tools. Additionally, properties with more than 3,000 square feet of hedges may require extra batteries or recharging intervals to finish the job.
Verdict: This cordless hedge trimmer is a practical, user-friendly choice for anyone needing to maintain moderate amounts of shrubbery. With its low-vibration blades and included power kit, it offers an easy, capable trimming solution right out of the box.
