Detailed Review
The Redmon Outdoor Compost Bin by OkraGardenSupply is a dedicated 65-gallon container designed to turn backyard scraps and organic waste into nutrient-rich compost. Sized at 26 by 26 by 30.75 inches, it offers plenty of volume for homeowners and gardeners managing regular yard clippings and kitchen debris.
Daily operation centers around convenience and air circulation. The container is vented to properly aerate organic materials for efficient breakdown. Loading fresh material is straightforward thanks to the top lift-off lid, while four dedicated access doors allow you to harvest finished compost directly from the base without disturbing the upper layers.
Constructed using 80 percent recycled materials, the bin is built to endure outdoor weather and changing conditions. Setup is equally accessible, as the entire unit snaps together without requiring any tools.
Because it measures over two feet wide on each side, you will need adequate open ground in your yard or garden area. Additionally, the listing does not mention an internal tumbler mechanism or an included bottom base plate, so it functions as a stationary, open-bottom ground bin.
Verdict: This compost bin is a solid choice for gardeners needing a large, stationary outdoor container with multi-door access. Its tool-free assembly and 65-gallon capacity make routine outdoor composting straightforward.
