Detailed Review
This 23-inch ceramic tower space heater from Lasko provides 1500 watts of quiet warmth for drafty bedrooms, home offices, and living spaces. It delivers heat using a self-regulating ceramic element paired with wide oscillation, helping distribute warm air throughout medium-sized rooms rather than concentrating heat near a single vent.
Daily operation is straightforward thanks to an included remote control. You can adjust the heat settings, start or stop the oscillation, and set the built-in timer without getting up from your desk, couch, or bed. The integrated timer runs for up to 7 hours, allowing you to warm a room for a set work session or evening period without leaving it running indefinitely.
For households with children and pets, the unit incorporates several key safeguards. It is ETL listed and features built-in overheat protection along with a cool-touch exterior housing. When you need warmth in a different part of the home, the integrated carry handle makes moving the tower between rooms simple and convenient.
Keep in mind that this 1500W tower is specified for medium-sized rooms, so it may struggle to heat large open-concept floor plans. Additionally, while the listing notes that the remote manages heat settings, it does not specify the exact number of temperature levels or fan speeds available.
Verdict: This ceramic tower heater is a solid choice for anyone needing focused, quiet supplemental heat in a medium bedroom or home office. Its reliable safety features, oscillating design, and remote control make it an easy and convenient fix for chilly rooms throughout winter.
